~There is no minimum balance to open or to maintain the account.
2. How do I check my balance?
~CommonWealth Credit Union offers free online banking, Mobile Banking, and TELCU with 24 hour access to your account information.
3. Are there monthly service fees?
~No! There are no monthly service fees for Starphire Checking accounts.
4. What is the monthly qualification cycle?
~The cycle begins on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month.
5. If I meet the monthly qualifications, when will I receive my rewards?
~Interest is paid monthly and posted on the first day of the Monthly Statement Cycle.
6. What happens if I don't meet the monthly qualifications for one month?
~If you don't meet the monthly qualifications, don't stress! There is no penalty for not meeting the qualifications, you will not earn cash back or ATM refunds for that month. Plus, the next month you qualify, you will start earning the reward interest (2.0% up to $350 with a max $7 refund) and ATM fee refunds (max $25 per month and $5 per transaction).
7. Will I get credit for my debit card purchases that I make online?
~Maybe. If the merchant runs the transaction through as a signature based transaction, you will get credit for the online purchase.
8. Will I get credit for my debit card purchase transactions on the same day that I make my purchase?
~Not always. Debit card transactions must post and clear during the monthly qualification cycle. Debit card transactions may take one or more days from the date of the transaction to post to an account.
9. Can the Rate/APY change on my Starphire Checking Account?
~Yes. Rates/APYs may change at CommonWealth Credit Union's discretion.
10. Will I be reimbursed for my Starphire Checking Account ATM transaction fees after each transaction or at the end of the month?
~If qualification of the Starphire Rewards Checking account are met for the current qualification cycle, your ATM fees up to $25 will be reimbursed to you on the first day of the next cycle.
11. Can I have more than one Starphire Checking Account?
~No. Only one account per social security number is allowed.
12. Can this be used as a business account?
~No. This account is to be used for personal use only.

~No. You must have a Starphire Rewards Checking account in order to have a Starphire Rewards Savings account. In order to earn the higher rate of interest on the savings account, you must meet the monthly qualifications of the Starphire Rewards Checking account.

~In order to earn the higher rate of interest on the savings account, you must meet the monthly qualifications of the Starphire Rewards Checking account:
~Post and clear at least 10 debit card transactions
~Be signed up for eStatements
~Be signed up for direct deposit or 1 ACH withdrawal per month

~You can check your eStatement or log into your online banking account or your Mobile banking account and review your transaction account history to view the interest earned.
